Patrick Ewing was not recognized at the Garden the other night and got quite irritated over it. Sure! He's a legend in that hall. But let's not forget that many of the people that watched him play there no longer work there. Younger employees, some who don't even watch basketball, have come on board and may not recognize who he is. And people's appearances change over time as well. Patrick no longer looks the way he did when he played there and wore number 33. Everyone these days are too quick to call the race card. Sometimes it has nothing to do with race. Investigate first before you get all bent out of shape.
